so how do you potty train a kid that never sits still...literally......he hardly sits and when he does its when he is eating. All he does is run around all the time. I have put him on the potty numerous times so he gets use to it but he uses it as a car....even tried the toilet , he just played with the paper and laughed.

if you try again when he's abit older, he may be more inclined to sit still
when you think he's ready to start.....keep some books in the toilet and read to him while he's sitting there, or sing some of his fave songs

the signing thing doesnt work as he gets up and dances :) plunket kept telling me something was wrong with him cause he doesnt sit down.....he always goes into the toilet and thinks it hillerous when it flushes ...unfortantly i dont think he will sit still no matter how old he is as he has been very active from day dot......hence the 1 hour sleeps so i was just curious if anyone else has a kid with the same personallity' and how they deal with it.

I know you are thinking ahead but when he is old enough and ready to toilet train he may sit down to do it.
Rhyley is showing signs of being ready (coming and telling me hes poo''d and pointing to his nappy) but still won't sit on the potty for long so I am just waiting - prefer to start training when its a wee bit warmer and he will be more ready then.
