ok, so i look after my sisters kids while she is at work. her girl is 2 and boy is 7 and i love them with all my heart and they are both really well behaved. tee wont eat much though and she freaks out an throws a spaz when she wants milk if you wont give it to her. her weight is healthy and her doc said to give it to her when she asks because there is worse things she could want but she can drink up to 6, maybe more cups a day. what should i do, has anyone else foiund their toddlers are addicted to milk?

my boy toby is addicted to milk, well he seems to be growing out of it now tho at nearly 3. i would say tho that if she is drinking 6 or more glasses of milk that is why she doesnt eat, shes too full! and the tantie could be more a 2 yr old control issue as opposed to a milk issue.

My nearly 2 year old would drink milk all day if we let her...milk, yoghurt and cheese are her favourite things - dairy nut!

I'm not sure whether it's the milk or the bottles but the gremlins are pretty damn attached to them.

I'm with Bizzy on this one. But since they are not your kids, have you talked with their parents about it and re what they want to do?

Totally agree with Bizzy. Caitlin was the same but we gradually reduced the amount in the bottles by 10mls every couple of days and now she only has a 200mls night bottle.

yea. their dad is going to give her milk no matter what happns cos it shuts her up. her mum is aesome but really tired too and is pretty busy which means that she will give it to her so she can have some quality time wihtout being screamed at. which pretty much leaves me, cos i have her during the day
