My girl is very loud some nights. If she wakes in the night, she squeals with delight, laughs at full volume, shreaks, yells out excited sentences pretends to be animals...of this is done at top volume. She giggles like crazy some nights!

We stay out as she is happy and doesn't need us. However, eventually I figure we'll be able to go in and ask her to play quietly as night time = quiet. EVen talking at normal volume rather than loudly would be better. Approx what age range do you think that level of comprehension is possible?

She understands shhh and plays whispering games during the day but isn't ready to make the association between night and quiet time yet (I don't think).

What time are we talking? Is it during the night? Or when she's winding down to go to sleep?

I'm not sure if she would understand but you could shhh her perhaps from the door way?

No idea, but when she gets the message can you send her over to share it with the gremlins coz they love talking to each other and rattling their cages in the middle of the night

LOL Emma. Our latest is hitting the wall and squealing with delight (yes, we have now moved the cot further away from the wall).

I think Sienna kicks the wall, it sounds too loud to be hitting but I don't actually go in to find out lol.

She is! It's just some nights and never for as long.

She is still seeing the osteo as big developmental milestones etc can cause the brain to fall back into old connections until they are strong. When she starts waking, it's a sign that her system needs a tweak again so we go back and she sleeps through again. It is a process but eventually the connections will hold. Very complicated to explain.

But in short - she is way better. Just really noisy some nights.
