I know that no two people are alike, but I'm struggling with my post(ish)-IVF roundy tummy. My pants and skirts are so uncomfortable because I have this bump which I can't suck in and which doesn't like my normal wardrobe.
There's no point in buying some bigger clothes because then they won't fit me when I'm back to normal, and buying anything maternity would just be foolish even if it IS just to allow for my current bump.
Those of you who've done this - how long does it take to get your body back?
(I suppose if this is the only hormonal rant I have, then I've done pretty well really )

For goodness sake. I just realised - all of you who have done IVF and are still on the boards became pregnant, so you don't know because your bumps just got bigger!
I think I'm going to crawl into a hole and stay there till next month.

When will you find out, Ginger?
I hate bloating too, only mine's endo. What I'd do for a baby at the end instead of a big crop of endo tho!!

Is what you could do is get a hair tye and put it through the button hole in your pants and then back through itself and pull it tight. Then put the loop over the button. Because the hair tye is stretchy it keeps your pants up but is a lot more comfortable.
Hopefully you end up needing to buy maternity pants

Ginger - it took my body a week or so to lose the bloating from IVF especially once i had OHSS. Just take it easy - it wasn't really till i had that week of work that it all went away.
I know it is difficult, but just be patient with your body. You're doing a wonderful job hun....look after yourself and embie # 9
