I'm trying to get Jack into wearing undies at the moment, hes fine doing wees in the potty when hes naked but if he has a nappy/undies/training pants on he just goes in them. So I explained that he would be wearing undies today and we have to pull them down to do wees and he seemed to understand.

I was putting the washing on and Jack came running in with his potty yelling wees wees and he had pulled his undies to the side to go

Cute!!!
jake took a while to stop weeing in his gruds as well. Once he actually asked to go to the toliet once, I took the plunge and only had a few undies accidents in the first week of wearing them all day. Took about a week, then it was all sweet. Good luck!!

I would love some tips on getting Zac toilet trained. Not sure if I'm doing it at the right time - he's nearly 2.5 years. He does know when he wants to go as he will tell me if he's in the bath or shower. I've bought him undies and he got excited about that until he weed in them. I've now got pull-ups but he still does everything in them even if I put him on the toilet and ask him all the time if he wants to go.

He will go into a corner to do a poo and then come and tell me straight away but won't do it on the toilet.

Any tips would be great!

hehe go jack!!   i remember it taking my jack forever to toilet train. he still has the odd accident now, 12mths after we started

kim, i didn't bother with pullups or training pants. went into undies and stayed with them. i figured if he wets his undies, he'll hate being wet and then learn to go toilet first. it's alot of washing but that's what i thought was best for us   IYKWIM
if he's still not getting it, maybe leave it for a month and try again. we started with jack when he was about 2yrs 4mths and it wasn't working at all. tried again a month later and had more success
