hi all,
as we will be moving closer to town at the end of the season i am thinking about enrolling tash into kindy. she will be 3.5 at the time.at the moment we go to playcenter 2 mornings a week, but i also feel that she needs a bit more activity as at the moment i cant exactly be jumping around with her..... but the thing is i dont really know much about kindy-like how much it costs,how the sessions work and stuff like that...... any one got any advice? is there a book called 'sending your kids to kindy for dummies'?lol ------------- Natasha Jayde, 1-01-05(7lb3oz) Caroline Elisabeth, 9-04-08 (4lb15oz) Izabella Kate, 9-04-08(6lb7oz) Lexi Brenna, 23-01--2011(6lb6oz) |

Traditionally kindys have sessions in the morning for 4 year olds, and the afternoon for 3 year olds (usually three afternoons a week). But nowadays there are lots of private kindys with varying hours and fees so it's probably best to ring local kindys and ask for information, or ask if you can pop in for a visit to ask all your questions and see if you like it

hey
i finally got brianna into kindy she starts next tuesday she is so over ready for kindy shes gona go 5 days aweek where we are.The hours are 8.30am till 2.30 pm mon tues thur and fri and 8.30 till 12.30 wens just gona see how she goes with five days as it may be a bit much to start off with but will see. The price there is $12 a week and because shes over 3 shes intitled to the 20 hours free a week so thats good.but i guess you would have to ring your local kindy to find out exactly what hours, prices etc are.im all new to this stuff as well so dont worry your not the only one. ------------- mother to Brianna, Amelia & Mathew. http://lilypie.com">
