I noticed today that Ashleigh has 3 or 4 prickles in her feet    Does anyone have any tips on how to get them out? I'll obviously have to use a needle but I'm pretty sure she won't just lie there and let me dig around    I'll do it after a bath so the skin is soft but just thought someone might have a good method?

Ouch, sorry no suggestions, but poor Ashleigh! You could always try while she is asleep? My nanny cuts the gremlins nails while they're asleep (coz I won't do it).

the lady at the market told me to put aloe vera on it, then the sticker part of the bandange on. after a week it should draw it out. I figured a bandage would never last that long on Jake's foot, and he let me dig it out. helps if hands are occupied wiuth ice blocks at the time.

Occuping hands is always a good thing. What you could do is get DH to distract her and you can do the dead or the other way around.

you can buy some drawing ointment I think is is called mercurium or something like that, another poltus (drawing thing that my mum uses) is wet bread (with water) & sugar on top then put plaster on usually takes overnight or next day

I managed to do it after her bath and she was lying with her daddy drinking her bottle. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be

Yeah I used a needle. I think Ashleigh still has some more although they just look like little red spots. But they have come up in a little lump but they are not bothering her at all. Not sure if I should dig around in there or not. I wonder if they eventually work themselves out?
