Hi everyone...
I'm in the midst of thinking about starting toilet training my little man - he just turned 2. I had 2 weeks off at Christmas when I was going to start but was sick so didn't....

We have a thread stickied in Toddler Times, something about toilet training, i think its about 8 pages... Lots of helpful stuff in there. I have just finished TT Hannah and by the looks of your ticker they are about the same age. I didnt bother starting until she was showing signs like telling me if she had a yuck nappy and when she needed to go.
It is a bit messy for the first few weeks and they dont have much control (like need to go right this instant!) but its probably taken us about 6 weeks and now she goes consistently on the toilet and can hold on for a few minutes until we can find one if we're out.
Good luck!

It's pretty much just as he seems ready. I started Hannah at 2yrs but it took 8mos before we could go out without taking a change. Briona started at 2 1/2 yrs and has TT in 3 weeks When I was TT Hannah I found it very discouraging at times, until a friend told me they had taken 6mos to TT - then I got 2 weeks out of my head and could relax about it.
