A Mercedes gremlin even!

Granted it was more of a get-your-claws-out-of-Sienna's-eye slap across the arm than a beat-the-living-daylights-outta her smack, and it did come while she was trying to claw Sienna's eye out while I changed Sienna's nappy, and ten minutes after she put two lovely bite marks in Sienna's arm that will bruise beautifully by the morning, and that's not even mentioning the two day old scar under Sienna's eye where Mercedes had a go at clawing it out last time, but it was a smack nonetheless. My baby's first smack [:s(]

I do tend to leave them to it when they argue coz they need to learn to sort things out their own way, but Mercedes does have a habit of bullying Sienna when Sienna is not doing anything to hurt her and I kinda feel the need to intervene when it gets physical.

So now poor Sienna is in bed nursing a bruised arm and scratched eye, and Mercedes is in bed nursing a bruised ego, altho I'm not even sure she got the message coz after I slapped her arm she just kinda looked at me like "huh?"

To you and the Gremlins. Funny
(but better that way) how it upsets us for ages after it happened and yet they are completely unfazed by it.
Hope Sienna isn't too badly bruised in the morning!

Poor Sienna! I have also lightly tapped Ashleigh's hand when she got me worked up. She looked at me, then looked down at her hand and started smacking it herself with her other hand    I couldn't help but laugh though and thought, that will teach me!!! I've decided time out works much better at the moment.
