I seem to get them whenever I am ovulating (like right now) and they are really starting to annoy me.

I just found out yesterday (from my doctor) that PCOS is often associated with higher testosterone, ACNE, obesity, I think there was something else that I've forgotten... so anyway more hairs would sound about right to me.

Maybe the acne is partly age related? I don't have PCOS but I have noticed my ACNE has been heaps better in the last year or two - probably cause I'll well past 21 now

Hey all

I think I am the poster child for PCOS

My face is shockingly full of acne ALL the time. It's awful and horribly embarassing. Hair growth is a common symptom of PCOS although mine is not too bad. People can usually tell (those who know about these types of conditions) that I have pcos just by taking one look at me (acne, overweight etc etc)

Was finally diagnosed with PCOS at 16 after so many problems when I hit puberty.

Here is a pic of me, taken 10 minutes ago in my full glory. Warning, image may be disturbing (it's only of my face so don't get too scared, hehe)

Amazingly, it's not too bad in this pic. Hehe. I'm having a good week.

My only symptoms of the dreaded PCOS is the weight gain, high cholesterol and most unfortunately, the infertility. I do get the odd breakout of acne, but its not bad. I use 'Clean & clear Self Foaming Facial Wash' on my face daily. I find it so good, that when Ive tried other products, I break out big time.
I also took up selling Avon back in August & with all the walking Ive been doing, Ive lost about 9kg in weight! Im told weight loss will help to reduce the effects.

I really loved the avon clearskin range too, but unfortunately it has stopped working for me. I'm totally gutted.

I still use it everday though. I'm pretty sure it's just that my body is way out of control at the mo (PCOS wise) - I had been getting AF regularly at the begining of the year (albeit not ovulating) and now it has stopped dead in it's tracks. Currently on CD74!
Crazyness. Hoping now that I'm losing weight again it will help right itself.

Unfortunely both the avon clearskin range & the neutrogena product have in the past months, caused me to have a major break out. At the time, my face was such a red mess, that Im too scared to try another product now. Just different skin types I guess.

I use the Nivea Young range and that has been good for me for the odd break out I have. I haven't had Acne so I can't say if it would work for it.

I did talk to my gp at the time. She said since I had no problems with the clean & clear face scrub, then just use that product. I have had no further issues since. But I will see a specialist, if any problems arise in the future. Thanks for the advice

I don't have acne issues, but I do have the hairy face, the random stray chin hairs and a fairly impressive mo if I don't wax it, also have really hairy arms
