Hi there

DS1 is in a convertible carseat and just starting to get a bit big for it. Coincidentally DS2 is about ready to come out of the capsule and into the convertible ...

Can you recommend me your toddler seat? I still want a five point harness, he is about 15kg and average height.

The chance of me getting to spend some time in the shop carefully choosing one are pretty limited so I want to do all my research online and then just go buy one

Thanks in advance.

We are currently at this stage at the moment. Am tossing up between the Phil and teds tott XT ($250) and one from the baby factory ($130). But also I'd love a Radian. But at $500 OUCH!!!

We just got a Radian (on special for $449 incl. postage from Infantesimal) cause after heaps of time spent looking around it was the only one i could find that had the 5 point harness up to a decent weight.

we got a s&s premier for DS1 when he grew out of his capsule, but although it's comfy enough for him it doesn't have a chest latch, doesn't really fit that well in the car as rearfacing and only goes up to 18kg... wish i'd done my research earlier!

We've just moved our son into a safety 1st summit booster .
It has a harness to use from 10kg - 18kg, and then use with seatbelt up to 45kg It reclines which I like for long trips so ds can have a good sleep, and has a clip across the chest which is handy too as he gets more adept at wriggling his arms out. It has a tether strap too.

Had forgotten about this topic but thanks for all your info guys!

I ended up splashing out on a Radian and really, really pleased with it. Fits so securely into the car and so trim. He is getting used to it now, mainly because we call it his racing car seat.
