Hi,

So for the last day or two everything has just got so painful, I get strange stabbing pains even if I am not doing anything, they don't feel like contractions just so painful.

Its getting hard to walk as baby is so far down and its making me miserable even simple tasks are now just so uncomfortable.

Is this all normal, I don't remember being like this with DS

Unfortunatly yip it is normal I know you are probably going to hate me saying this but you don't have too much longer

Listen to your body though and try to rest when you can!! I know easier said than done with a toddler

Yep very normal, I had a lot of pain at the end of both my pregnancies to the point of being in tears on my hands and knees from the pain. (groin cramps, stabbing in the VJJ, sciatica(OMG OUCH), contractions from 38 weeks.

Hang in there hun! Take panadol and use a heat sack, these things really helped me! Not long now! :)

I had ligament pain in the pelvis with #4 and got a smiley belt from physio (ask ur mw). But no probs with #5. Wearing my orthotics regularly helps me a lot too.

Ok, i'm glad its fairly normal, it has reduced me to tears on a no of occasions, I just feel so useless, doing anything hurts - will talk to midwife, not long to go I know but days are dragging now

I would invest in a belly belt which as PP said from physio or TM sell them now too but they are a bit pricey

the worst pain is in my pelvis, ok if I sit or lie down but as soon as i'm up and about - OUCH

I will be talking to midwife about it for sure - the thought of even a couple more weeks like this is not nice.
