make her help with hanging out washing etc.
Baking (muffins or anything that needs stirring is real good)
making a toy - eg telephone and tins and then she will play with them for a while
Quiet time....make her sit and read a book quietly
and in desperation I guess - tv time???
Outdoors fun - go to the pools, the park, feed ducks, count letterboxes etc on a walk, walk to the shops etc....

"cleaning" - doing dishes, washing her "babies", give a squirt bottle of water and a dishcloth

Oh yeah Alyssa loves playing in the sink with some water and bubbles... Often pesters me by saying "wash" repeatedly whilst trying to pull out the dining room chair (which is what she stands on at the sink). The plus side to this is that I can start making dinner preparations while next to her.

I tend to part fill a bucket with water (warm in winter) and pop her tea set outside with the water for her to play with. She loves splashing about.

Ditto what Pepsi said! Isla gets out her big plastic apron thing that I stick on her when she 'washes dishes'(to save her clothes form getting wet cos she HATES getting changed!), and nags me to let her do it!
She does the same in the batheroom when I clean in there.

We have a big cardborard box which has given us hours of fun,...ages ago we cut a door, a hole to cral in and diff shaped windows,..now Isla is pulling all the top layer off so that it looks corrugated,..and then we will paint it soon!

Have a tea party! Isla loves it! We put one of her little blankets on the lounge floor,...set up her dolls teddys, and play with her tea set. We just pretend,..so theres no mess to clean up!
