I showed my family the potty shot of this little ones not so little bits He's rather favoured in that department lol. I asked them if they could guess what it was a picture of and if they couldn't then I just told them.

ALL my family is back in Australia and theres a history of family members getting upset when others find things out first so to stop that from happening this time I sent out a group text to the ones that mattered - my mum, dad and stepmum and my grandparents.....wish i could have done it cutely or creativly lol but its difficult with everyone there!!

I just rang my parents n told them but next time I'd love to give them a lil coloured onsie (pink or blue) wrapped up or something with a pic of the scan.
I never got a potty shot from my scan my sonographer was a meany and just sorta swiped over his bits and said 'it's male' and carried on. BUT I had a scan at 35weeks and the midwife that did it printed a sneaky pic of his boy bits for me

I have the best set of pictures for this thread, but they're on my other computer. Will put them up before tomorrow though, everyone will have a giggle - i sent a friend the picture of BLATENT boy parts and she didnt see it at all, she drew on it what she DID see and sent it back....i laughed for a week.

Mine didn't do a scan of her bits either, same with my friend, she joked 'Oh, that's going to be his 21st pic!' and the sonographer refused to let her have a pic of it.

I heard of a really cute one - the couple made a vanilla flavoured cake, and used food colouring to make it either pink or blue, then iced the whole thing so you couldn't tell. They to announce it they cut the cake so everyone could see! I thought that was super cute!!
