So of course, this is going to be too much info probably.
But anyway, anyone with an IUD (or perhaps without?) had mid-cycle spotting??
I had my period a couple of weeks ago... it came early (I think - I'm terrible with these things!) and it finished about a week ago. Yesterday I was spotting again and am definitely not due for period.
Should I see a doc? Keep freaking out? Or try and resume life as normal and wait to see what happens?
Arghhhhhhhhhhhh.

i would freck out then try pretending its not happing then go and see a doc sorry not much help nikki

haha nikki, i dont think you should pretend its not happening - isnt that a bit like what happened with hannah???
that doesnt sound normal for an iud, so i would maybe ring your doctor and ask to speak to a nurse about it, she would tell you if you should go see the doc or if it is common.

haha I did consider that... especially I was feeling sooo sick over the weekend but it seems to have gone away so I think it was possibly some sort of bug I picked up and then nerves making me feel horrible.
I've had the IUD for 4.5 months now and my cycles have been roughly 28 days... but I'm never really regular.
I just still suffer from paranoia even though the IUD has a really low failure rate!! I can't help it.
I was meant to have the (very late) follow up appointment for the IUD last week but couldn't go and now I can't get another appt. Freaking popular FPA.

I don't think thats normal for a regular iud, I would ring the nurse where you got it put in and ask. It could just be that you were going to have a bit heavier period and some got stuck and then came out later? I duno lol

It can be common to get the odd light spotting in the first few months. If it isn't all that light I would be calling the dr to see them tomorrow just to get checked out.

Yeah, now I am not feeling so sick I'm not too worried. I think Tobin is feeling ill now so I can definitely write that off as a symptom! haha
I think I'll go back to what I do best and ignore it

Yes! Sticking your head in the sand until its gone away is in my experience a very effective way of dealing with things. I use it alllll the time 
Its probably different with the Mirena but I had irregular spotting for the first 3 months and then some light spotting occasionally up until 6 months. (often after sex, which I worried about and then ignored)
I say if you're otherwise well ignore it until your next period is due and see what that is like.
