Thats horrible Judith, my contractions have been so painful too I hate hospitals so midwife has just been keeping a close eye on bubs as well as my blood pressure. Most of the contractions that I've been getting are worse than the ones I had when I was in labour with Chloe. I've been taking extra strength panadiene before I go to bed so I don't get woken up by so many of the contractions, which seems to help a little. Don't worry about the crying I'm sure it's completely normal for people in this situation or at least I hope it is because I've been doing it pretty much everyday now.
Bubs is now tightly engaged but is growing so much that he/she is making it difficult to breath again. I'm sure this baby is going to be huge! I've had high blood pressure, headaches and dizzyness as well as swollen ankles the past few days but this morning my blood pressure was down a bit so they just think the rest of the symtoms are due to getting little to no sleep for the past few weeks as well as carrying round so much extra weight. I've been ordered to stay off my feet until bubs is born, but I'm just hopeless at doing nothing and I feel so mean not being able to take Chloe out to the park and simple things like that.
My midwife is away from Thursday until Saturday so hopefully bubs will decided to come before or after that. I'm sooo worried about having someone I don't know deliver the baby after I had an uncomfortable and slightly more stressful experience with a midwife I didn't know when I had Chloe.
