I found out on the 29th I was pregnant with a home pregnancy test i did another one today to make sure and that was also positive, so i have an appointment with my midwife on the 13th dec, when i took both test the result came back very quick and clear (very dark lines) does this mean I am further on then I think?

Not always with my boy I tested with my first morning urine and it came up straight away and the positive line was darker then the control line - after having a scan turned out I was only 4.5weeks along lol

oh bugger i was hoping it ment that must just mean i have high hcg levels, it seems like the midwife appointment is so far away.

Your GP can send you for hcg testing..Even an early scan - mine did

You can ask your midwife to arrange blood tests.

i think it means that you have high hcg levels, but doesnt tell you how far along you are. mine was instant and i was about 4.5 weeks

....and I had my first positive result on the 26th Nov and tested again this morning and the test line is a lot darker than the control line as well.
