All this talk about germy germs is fair, and granted. Obviously we all have little people who are more susceptible to the nastys we might put in our bodies.
So I ask this.
When was the last time we changed our toothbrush? Or sterilised it before we brushed our teeth? Those nice damp bristles are left exposed to germs in a nice warm humid environment for hours, then we simply rinse it off and in it goes once or twice a day. No second thought. Not to mention the levels of bacteria in our mouths.
Ive worked in dentistry for 6 years, and I can tell you the state of our mouths is likely to be 1,000,000 times worse than the inside of a Mc D's Soft serve machine.
Thats what I consider when I go to eat my Mc Flurry anyway. While there may or may not not be reported cases of listeria, you would be suprised at the amount of studies that have shown what negative effects poor Oral Hygiene has on not only a developing baby but the child once its born.
