Oh my it's getting bad. When I was preggy with DS I had indigestion what I thought was bad, lots of liquid gaviscon and that kept it under control. I don't think it really got bad till I was over 30 wks anyway.
With this one I'm only 25 wks and it's worse that I ever remember with DS.

I know they say to avoid spicy / fried / fatty foods, but I'd like to hear some ideas on what I should eat.

A standard day is toast & decaf coffee for breakfast, often toast again for lunch, dinner's usually general meat & vege. A few bits of fruit, some biscuits and raw almonds for snacks.
Lately I've been having quite a bit of milk as that seems to help, but it's only a short term fix.

Any suggestions?

I lived on chocolate milk, quickeze are good on the run, but only really relieve it for a few minutes. Is it worse at night? I found lying semi upright helped as mine was really bad at night.
Ummmm that's all I could really do. Hugs, I know what you're going through and I am absolutely dreading it this time round

I found toast was a bad choice! Maybe try something else for brekkie like cereal and milk coz the milk will also help.

But also agree with AuntieSarah about Rantidine! Miracle pill....

I second Nutella on the toast - it's always worse for me when I have it.

Avoid anything acidic too, like tomatoes - I'm not sure what other fruit fall into the acidic category but probably worth finding out and avoiding them too.

I've been having lots of milkshakes, flavoured milk and smoothies with icrecream and find that helps.

I find biscuits aren't always good, especially oaty and honey ones... weird.

Also, plain milk is better than sweetened (i.e. flavoured - I heard someone say that there is more sugar in flavoured milk than in soft drink! Either way it seems to be 10% sugar... according to coke and primo), maybe its the sweetness in the biscuits that doesn't help??

Anyway, enough ramblings... prob best to stick with plain and natural and go the dairy - yoghurt and milk are all good!!

Dairy is good as long as it's not too fatty/sweet - eg homemade crunchie icecream (made with sweetened condensed milk, whipped cream and crunchie bar) does NOT help lol. But chocolate milkshakes, cold milo etc are all good
Probably plain milk would be best but can't drink it myself.
