As this forum has set my mind at ease so many times alread throughout this pregnancy, Im hoping it can again!
Has anyone experienced the following symptom and can possibly explain it?

I have a small spot on my stomach that has pins and needles almost constantly? Its about 5cm in diameter and just underneath my right breast.

I am seeing my midwife in a couple of weeks, but apart from the constant tingles, there is no pain or discomfort and Im keeping well. This has been happening for a couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance for your advice. :)

Sorry, I can't help, but I have a spot on my leg, just above my knee, like a strip, that does the same thing. I'm now 30weeks, and i've had it since about 28.5 weeks. I'm waiting for my next mw appointment to ask her too.
I'm not too worried since it's just a small spot.
Let us/me know what your mw says!

Hey I had stabbing pain in the same area. Once my MW had ruled out gall stones etc I discovered it was a pinched nerve. 3 months on after my girl was born its still kinda numb in that area.

Yep, I had that with DS pretty much constantly from about 25 weeks. My midwife said it wasn't anything to worry about in terms of the health of the baby, and it went away after I gave birth. I guess DS might have been pushing on a nerve or something.
I found it got worse when I'd been sitting for a long time in a less comfortable seat (like at the movies or in a lecture) or if I was slouching on the couch. Try propping up some pillows behind your back when you're sitting and try to keep your back straight (don't hunch forward). I didn't find that made it stop entirely, but it did make it less uncomfortable.
