I enjoyed your blog update too, very funny (someone from OB linked to it once, and I found it very encouraging while we were going through the fertility treatment stuff).

Yay, so you've almost got the baby you 'ordered' last year, now we just have to wait and see if its another wee ginger or not

If they can get a good enough potty shot (side-on apparently is best, zooming in past one leg), theres a theory called 'the angle of the dangle' which can predict baby's gender. Helps if you get a sonographer willing to have a go, mine just brushed me off and didnt even bother trying to look! Theres a website called in-gender.com that has a forum where trained sonographers will look at scan pics and try and pick gender from what the pics show.

Aww that's so cool!! I had an OB last pregnancy and he wouldn't tell me till 18wks that he thought it was a girl, so that is very efficient

Thanks everyone It's finally starting to settle in that we have another one on the way    This natural pregnancy business can take you quite unawares huh?

I wasn't too worried about having either a boy or girl, although a girl gives me hope that we'll have a bit of a different first year to the one we had with Cuinn, which was generally dreadful, but I was absolutely fascinated that they could take an educated punt that early in the pregnancy as to the sex of the baby!    Not that I mind

Exciting! We were told at 12 weeks C was a boy, the sonographer said off the record she would take an educated guess, she was right and when she pointed it out it actually was quite obvious! lol

I had an ob scan me for my 12 week scan and he guessed girl and got it right
