Help my 14 month old has just starting screaming at the top of her voice and thinks it is really funny. I have tried advising her to whisper and turning her round in her highchair when she is sitting down so that she is facing away from us but nothing is seeing to work. I have such a headache! Any tips please??

-ignore her
- laugh at her instead and when she stops screaming to see why you are lauging let her know that screaming is not acceptable
- walk away from her
- scream with her....

depends what the motivation for screaming is.
DS screams really really really loudly (and higher than most girls) when he is really excited and having a blast.

No tips sorry as nothing worked with ds - and by nothing, i mean we tried pretty much everything under the sun. I've tried to adjust my thinking to the fact that he's not being "naughty" just trying to express his extreme delight the best way he can. I can sometimes get him to stop now that he is a little older (2.5) but it often lasts about 3 seconds.
