I have Heather LaDell as my LMC and Adrienne Mulqueen as my back-up MW. both are amazing!!! was in hospital for a couple of nights about mid pregnancy and they were fantastic. any questions i had were always answered and i never felt like they were stupid questions. were both always ontop of everything and they dont take on lots of ladies (about 2-4 a month each) so you can almost guarentee that they will be there for your birth. will be going back to them when we have a 2nd baby.

also if you go to Queen Mary, they have a MW list of all practicing MWs in the Dunedin/Mosgiel area. i think they also cover down to Balclutha....



have heard good things about Sally McNeil too from quite a few different people.

Lisa Wang was wonderful....Made my pregnancy and birth easier and not so scary! She is a great MW and would recommend her 110%

For this pregnancy we have Jennie Crawshaw we live in mosgiel and she comes out here no worries Congratulations too!!!

We had Jennie Crawshaw for both pregnancies, and she was fantastic

oooh, i am looking for a midwife in dunedin too. have been trying to track down adele mcbride who we had last time, but no answer. it's such a big thing finding the right midwife!

Sorry I havnt been back on for ages!!! I have arranged two meetings to see what I think and if they right for us. One tomorrow and one on Monday. I rang heaps they were either booked out or have never rang me back!! I have a meeting with Rachel and Mary! Will let you know how I get on!!! Thanks so much to everyone for your help! It is a great help :)

Great to hear these responses.....we are 3 months away from our first baby being due (just found out a month ago) and are very keen to find a midwife ASAP.
All this is very new to both myself and Mum-to-be so I want to assist her in every way I can.

Robert if you and/or your partner wants to join our coffee group we meet every wednesday at 2pm (Mums meet up section for where we decide to meet... but same day and time every week)
