Just thought I would share my way of finally getting DD to submit to tooth brushing, in case any more of you are having issues!

We now do it in front of the bathroom mirror. I hold her up and we both brush our teeth (though i dont have toothpaste on my brush, but she doesn't know that).

She loves watching us do it and copies my actions. She doesn't do a great job, but it means i can get my hands on her brush occasionally and do a bit, and it has been way better than our old method that caused tears, screams and tantrums (on both sides) and made me feel like i was giving her toothbrush trauma for life!

*LIKE*

We do this too, I bought a wee stool for the bathroom so Callum can stand at the basin and see himself in the mirror. He loves spitting at the end

Yep - we sit in front of the mirror and Jackson is MUCH happier if he can check himself out whilst brushing. Vain much?

That is a great idea, I will have to try it.

Arianne just sucks on her toothbrush so I have to get in there and do the brushing.
