Hi all,

We are expecting our first baby in December and are undecided about what ante-natal classes to attend - the choice is between Parents Centre (Boundary Rd) or Maternal Journey (based at River Ridge, Von Tempsky St). (I am also hoping to do the hypnobirthing course but they say its ok to do both.) Does anyone have any recent feedback/comments about either of the above places to help us make up our minds?

I did the maternal journey ones in late 2009. They were fantastic. I would highly reccomend them. Simone who runs maternal journey is really passionate about what she does which comes through in the courses she offers.

I thought the Maternal Journey ones were great! They came highly recommended, and I can see why. Even now, nearly a year on, Simone is still available to answer questions, and she takes baby / toddler workshops after your baby is born if you want too.

Oh, and it's worth going to them just to hear Simone do labour noises

I did Maternal Journey's classes and thought they were great!

I did mine with Waterford. They were just typical classes. But I can recomend them.
