Is anyone aware of something that helps and is safe? Diluted tea tree oil? Clearasil?

I think there are none that are a big no-no while pregnant- what you need to watch for is how your skin reacts as it may be more sensitive.

have you had acne before or is this just a pregnancy thing? if it's the first time, start off with something gentle and work your way up if it doesn't work. if you've had skin probs before, try what worked last time- just watch out for reddness, dry skin and inflamation and if any happen stop using that face wash.

I found last time that the acne was worse in the 1st and 2nd trimester but cleared up by the 3rd

and, old wives tale, acne means a it's girl

I had the same, and there was nothing I could do about it :-( I just laughed about it and my DH and I gave the particulary big ones names :-)

But like mummytobesep08 said, you will probably have lovely skin in the next tri or 2, mine has come right and I now get comments on how good it is looking

Nah I reckon acne is for a boy...I had the worst skin with my boy!

I guess just use what you usually use?

Mine has broken out terrible too
I always get bad hormonal breakouts.
The only think that worked for me was vitamin A tablets from the doc - but can't take those now obviously.

FX for a pregnancy glow for us soon cuppycake!
