hope it still working babygiraffe. we had no luck with our 2 queens of the household. had to put tinfoil around her bassinette in our room int he end (they always sleep in our room at nite), thankfully they never got in it when she was there but found 1 of them tucked in there when she wasn't there near the end of her time in the basinette. i have caught them both in her cot at different stages, when she is in there we have the door pulled with an elastic contraption DH made so the door can't be pushed open but is open a crack so we can hear her cry. works great! never trust the furry monsters, babies beds are so perfect and compact and cosy for them.... i dont think they would smother her (as they never try sleep round our faces) but they lean against legs etc and if she did try kick them might start a scratch war that the baby wont win at this age eeek
