Has anyone heard of bananas aggravating nappy rash? DS is teething at the moment and has quite bad nappy rash but it seems to be worse - like on fire - since he's just decided he likes eating bananas.

I wouldn't have thought so, considering bananas aren't especially acidic, but it's too much of a coincidence.

Could be, I know banana's upset reflux babies so maybe it could upset nappy rash? Withdraw it & find out & then introduce it again.

A friend of mine's son is allergic to bananas and would have the worst nappy rash whenever he ate them - so could definitely be that!

Yep Bananas are a bad food for allergys, not as harmless as they sound! Isla still cant tollerate even the smallest ammount- they upset her stomach and she will be awake all night.
