My Daughter just turned 3 this month and we got her a 2 wheeler bike.
But she just sits there won't peddle unless we help her.
Any ideas on what we can do to teach her to do it her self.

If you put her feet on the pedals and then push will she get the idea? Or is that what you're already doing?

Jake took ages to work it out - but when he started going to playcentre and saw the other kids, he was right into it. Taine was really quick to learn cause he had jake to show him. i would say find some older kids that will model it to her, or just wait.

some kids just pick it up quicker... gabriel just got on a bike and went for it - toby we had to push him and show him how to do it and move his legs for him... took him ages and that was a trike!

Isla has had alittle trike with the pole at the back that we can puch since Christmas- she has just mastered the streering so we dont end up zig zagging all over the place, but wont peddle herself unless we pushing her.

We spent ages trying to teach Keira, the best places to teach her were the local netball courts where there was just loads of space, or somewhere with a slight slope down to make it slightly easier.
We had a trike with a handle and used to push her around, she would put her feet to the back and thought it was a great ride. I wished we had got her a bike with training wheels as now shes has finally learnt to ride it shes ready to go up to a 'big kids' bike.
She seemed to be going nowhere and then suddenly one day hopped on at playgroup and was off. Now was cant get her to slow down

Hi everyone thanks for your replys.
We are trying to get her on her bike as much as we can.
On tuesday night she was peddling herself and we were telling her how great she was, and she thought she was really cool , so we be out there today with her again hopefully she will be even better today.
Cross my fingers she is lol.
