Hi, just wondering if anyone had any advice on choosing a midwife for me!
I had a high risk pregnancy last time (high BP and GD), so was transferred to the high risk team about 26 weeks. I'm hoping to avoid both of those last time, but the GD will be hard.
On top of that, I had a c-section. Long story short, I was induced at 38.5 weeks for high BP and GD, went into hospital on the Wed, they tried to induce on Wed, twice on Thurs, and then on Friday, and by Sat I was begging for a c-section, lol. So with this one, if it comes down to an induction or a c-section - I will choose another section every time.
So I guess my question is - is it worth finding one midwife, better to go with a pair? I guess I can't be bothered to find someone who clicks, only to have to leave them later on, and not have them there for the birth anyway. Gah.
I'm in central Auckland, if it helps, Onehunga.
