Hi there...My baby boy is 8 1/2 months old and after my last plunket visit was advised to give food before milk rather than milk before food. I can't quite seem to get my head around how it will work and how I will get 4 bottle feeds in. Currently he has a bottle at approx 6.45, then breakfast at 7.30ish, a bottle at approx 11am, then lunch at 12ish, bottle at 4pm, dinner at 5pm and bottle at 6.30...then beddie byes. Any help, suggestions, advice would be great. Thanks

You simply swap the meal and bottle times around. So:
6.45 Breakfast
7.30 Bottle
11am Lunch
12 Bottle
Keep the 4pm bottle
5pm Dinner
6.30pm Bottle
Thats how I did it for Dominic anyway. Good luck with the change.

Yeah just give the breakfast, lunch and dinner bottles after solids and the other bottle(s) give as you normally would.
Having said that my little one still has milk first thing in the morning and always has, he just seems thirsty rather than hungry and still eats a good brekkie 30mins later so I don't worry about it.

Just miss the bottle feeds and offer food first. Then use the bottle to top him up. It will be fine for him to drop a bottle a day as well.
