Hi, I have a midwife but plan to supplement her care with some private OB appointments due the the fact I had a difficult very overdue labour and finally a c-section...and because I can claim it with my southern cross membership. I used AOC with my last pregnancy but wasn't happy with them.
Can anyone recommend their OB in Central Auckland?

Derek Souter at Origins in Mt Eden is fantastic. (So far - as I haven't actually had my baby yet!) My friend used him and recommended him and I have been very happy.

I am at Origins too, I am with Phil Beattie. I have been happy with him. He is a quiet, gentle soul haha, but I find that reassuring. I have only heard good things about Origins. I have however had a very straight forward pregnancy and am yet to have my baby.
Just out of interest, what was it you didn't like about AOC?
