What advice have you been given when your little one has had an infection?
I phoned the nurse as I forgot to ask the doc on Friday and she said to keep him off until his ears are rechecked in 6 weeks, that seems a little extreme to me so i'm just wondering what others have done.

He really loves swimming and it seems a shame to miss a whole term.

We were told to avoid swimming with Sam's ear infections. She hasn't been all term either. Hopefully she can go back next term after having her grommets put in

I posted in the june bubbas thread but we were told the same thing. Water in swimming pools isn't exactly nice clean water and getting that in an already infected ear won't help his ear recover. It's mostly with going under the water and floating so water goes in the ear.

We had to pull the gremlins out too Better safe than sorry. I haven't got them booked into lessons anymore, that way we can take them when they are well enough and skip it when they're not without it costing anything.

Hope you can get a refund/credit, I know ours was really good about it.

Make sure you have a medical cert to say why he can't continue his lessons and that should help get the refund.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
