Topic: Never leave a gremlin unattended :os Posted: 27 October 2008 at 9:37pm |
OK so I thought they were safe to play in their room given that we've already removed all the furniture so they don't play up at night, but apparently not They were playing in their room this afternoon, I heard screaming and rushed in to find...
Mercedes says: Bed broke-it Mama
Mama says: Who broke the bed?
Mercedes says: Si-a
Sienna says: Saydies
And it's not just broken, it is muntified. They must have been jumping on it and put too much weight against it and they've split the wood all the way along. Muntified.
I soooo cannot afford new beds right now! Luckily we did have a spare single bed in the shed that we've set up for her but

Oh my gosh!!!!! I can't believe they could do that!! They are such wee monkeys - cute ones at that! I have just finished telling my husband. He thought Oliver got up to mischief!
I have to laugh sorry Emma. Maybe you'll have to put the beds out in the hall way with the rest of their furniture. Just have two mattresses in their room! Surely they wouldn't be smart enough to pull the springs out!

Oh dear. Trying so hard NOT to laugh.
Big hugs though, I can understand not needing the extra expense!

I wouldn't put it past them, I wouldn't put *anything* past them these days, Willie has nicknamed them "Davis Demolition"...

Sorry but I saw that photo and nearly fell off my chair. I'm most impressed at their resourcefulness
It makes me think of that nursery rhyme..
There was a little girl who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
And when she was good she was very, very good
and when she was bad she was wicked
Edited to add: I think I am going to stop Sam jumping on her bed now
