We always have hash brown buttons in the freezer - they are about the size of a $2 coin so kids seem to like them as they are small. Probably not the MOST nutritious food but I think that a lot of children would find boiled potato bland and the texture a bit strange. I watched Amy eat a boiled potato and a piece of kumara the other day and see really seemed to struggle to get them chewed and swallowed and she is a pretty good eater.

Another thing I keep on stand by is one of the Watties blue baby food tins (4months +) it is the pumpkin & sweetcorn one - it makes a good pasta sauce and it is a really quick stand by dinner. I also add in a bit of ham and some peas and cheese.
