am looking for a booster seat to use for Ella when sitting at the dining chair. Any recommendations of where I could get one? am on a bit of a budget at the moment, so don't want to pay too much.

TIA

We looked for one a few months ago, our table has bits that come down so no booster seat would fit and get Leah close enough, so I bought a piece of thick foam from payless and put a cushion cover on it , sewed some ties to the back so I can tie it to the chais and it works great. I think the foam cost about $6

I brought a half booster 'car' seat for Rhyley to sit on and its worked a treat - cost $30. or you just use cushoins but we found this wasn't good as slipped on our wooden chairs

like the idea of making one using form- thanks LisaD.

where would I buy a half booster car seat from? does it just had the seat part but not the back???

At the moment we are just using cushions for her, but everytime she gets on and on they slip and it's a bit hard for her to climb back up again.

I brought mine from baby factory - but I suspect any where that sells carseats would sell them. Yes just the seat part with no back - you could even put a belt round it to keep it in place if you wanted to (as it has place for seat belt)

The usual plastic ones are available at Warehouse.

If budget is an issue, why don't you just keep her in the highchair for a couple more months until she is tall enough (probably about 20mos)? (Excuse me asking.)

Teresa Rhyley is pretty tall for his age and he struggles to eat properly at the table as he needs to be that little bit higher - hence we got a seat for him to sit on
