HELP..........i have tried just about every nappie on the market and he just wets right through and this making us change his bedding EVERY day.......ok in summer but sucks in winter.........he also sleeps in safety sleep so there is a bigger problem.......He is in huggies at the mo and i find these the best but still drenched ....he goes to bed at 6.30pm and has new nappy on then ...wakes about 6.30am ....is there anything out there that i can try of do.

i did think of that but he has VERY solid legs and the elastic leaves marks on him......so was unsure if this was ok to do all night

Ah, we had this problem. Still do sometimes, but what we tried was using Huggies and putting him in a button under singlet.

Also, maybe try restricting how much he has to drink before bed, perhaps for the hour and half before he goes down.

Good luck! Its such a pain having to change all the bedding every day

ETA: also, try getting the nappies in a larger size than you'd normally need. They will be bigger, and more absorbent.

Get a pair of longies, they are like woolen PJ pants but have been lanolised so should keept the wees in. The best part is the lanolin neutralises the wees so you don't have to wash them every day.

joshierocks - yah was already puttign him in those singlets. I did try him in the drynits for 4 yrs last night but no still wet. As for the drinking ...we stopped giving him water 2 hrs before bed and he just has bottle now before bed and that is it

rachandjack - where do you get those 'longies'?

I'm not sure the drynites are all that absorbent. They are for kiddies who are daytime toilet trained, so they actually let the kiddies feel the wetness more than a proper nappy.

I may be wrong tho.....

what sposies have you tried? i'd highly recommend
air nappies
sealer nappies
cien nappies

i found all these alot more absorbant than huggies

other than that, try longies.......check out TM for some or i think they have them at tweedle.co.nz
