Hi ya all..
Blake is getting some big teeth through at mo..4 to be precise. Have noticed his eczema has flared up something chronic plus he has had odd breath and yucky nappies....
Absolutely
When babies teethe, their saliva gets more acidic. This leads to more nappy rash because the urine is stronger. Not sure about the breath thing but it's probably the same reason I guess.
With the excema, does he mostly get it on his chin or elsewhere? Is it from the extra dribbling he will be doing?
Jake also used to get bad breath when he was gearingn up for sore ears. But it was wicked bad (and the ecxema and bum yuck) with the 2y/o molars, which, incidently took FOREVER to come in...
The Honest Un PC Parent of 2, usually stuck in the naughty corner! :P
Jack's currently cutting some big teeth (the last ones before the 2yr olds) and his dirty nappies are alot smellier and he does sometimes seem to have a funny smelly breath. He also has just starting getting eczema in the last few weeks - hadn't even thought about that being related to teething, just the nappies and breath.
