Topic: TV: playhouse disney Posted: 30 April 2008 at 5:40pm |
Rhiannon has never been a big tv fan...but she has decided that she loves the program *number jacks*...and *mickey mouse club house*...and has started taking an interest in *little enstines* (sp?).
she is sitting on her block trolley at the moment...and its the quietest and calmest...she has been all day...

Andrew loves playhouse disney. His favourites are Mickey Mouse and Number Jacks. He would happily watch that channel all day.

Alyssa is OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse and it's one of the first things she says when she wakes up in the morning cause she knows it's on. I actually was thinking about all the words she says these days and a whole bunch of them come from characters on that channel

LOL Lucas LOVES the 'hot dog' song....was the only way I could get the lil munchkin to eat when he was younger. Unfortunately we don't have that channel, we watch short clips on youtube instead

OMG, Sam is addicted to Disney channel. She absolutely loves the Doodlebops at the moment. The minute they come one she runs in front of the tv and starts dancing to the music

Haha yea I often find myself singing along - most of the time I surprise myself by knowing the words!!!!
Mickey Mouse is my morning "babysitter" when I am getting ready for work otherwise I would never get out of the house.
Favourites here are: Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins and starting to be Clifford the big red dog!!!!
I find this channel a lifesaver at times.

Michaela loves Go Baby!, Mickey Mouse, Bear in the big Blue House and (of course) The Wiggles.
Hmmm. That seems like a lot of tv but Go Baby! is actually only a few minutes long and the others are only 20 mins - plus she's not glued to the tv the whole time they're on.

i go over to my nana's every friday for wine and nibbles session (she lives through the fence) and they have sky (we don't)
jack sits there glued to the tv the whole time! he loves number jacks, mickey mouse, handy manny and saw doodlebops for the first time last friday. he basically watches playhouse disney from 4.30-7.30pm then it's home to bed
i'm thinking of taking a tape over there and recording some stuff for him to watch at home seems we don't get it on 'poor mans tv'

Another Disney fan here. Zac has learnt quite a few numbers from Number Jacks (that's the one I can't stand the most though). He's allowed to watch it in the morning while I get us all ready and then again at 5 so I can feed Samara and get dinner ready.
If I start singing Hot Dog too early he goes "not yet Mum!" and we always get up and dance to it.

It was actually ridiculously easy (especially compared to the one I did the year before).
I did it on the PC and printed it onto OHP (transparancy paper). I just found the picture I wanted on google images then put it in a document with the words I wanted (I used powerpoint but any program that you can paste images into will work).
The icing is white chocolate with icing sugar on sprinkled on top to make it white then I put the OHP down and added icing and sprinkles around the side so you can't see the edge of the OHP. I just removed the OHP before cutting.

OH my GOD lets not talk about Disney Channel!! My daughter loves Mickey and I mean she is a bit crazy about mickey. We actually had to go and try and find different DVD's on Mickey, donlad etc. She keeps watching them if Mickey Mouse club house id not on.... But she also likes JO JO Circus, Little people, Little Einstines....etc. Not too keen on Number jacks, stanley and Cliffod.
I bought a Pluto soft toy when I was in USA and Mum bought her a Micky soft toy when she went to USA. Zaara carries them around every where.
I have decided that I will buy all the charecters from the disney web site (USD$8) and get them delivered to DH's uncles house in LA. MIL is going there in August for a wedding and she cn bring them back with her. Delivering them to NZ cost USD$56.00.
It was wiggles before now its mickey. I guess her next birthday theme will be Disney's Mickey Mouse club house!!
