I've been really bad. I never stopped eating lunch meat. I don't even heat it up. I eat eggs with runny yolks and I ate raw brownie batter.
Worst of all, I rode every roller coaster at my local Six Flags at 6 weeks pregnant. This, after borrowing zofran from my friend to counteract the nausea and often having to hold my sore boobs so they didn't bounce around and make me miserable. I had taken the test only a few days before but I did some research and determined that there was little I could do to help or harm the baby at that early stage. I'm 25 weeks now and everything is progressing just fine.
https://snaptube.cam/ https://9apps.cam/ I even had a teeny half a glass of wine at a Christmas party. Gasp!
Leave your judgement at the door for this thread. Confession time! What have you done that you aren't supposed to?
Edit! Whoa, you guys delivered! And we kept things awesome in here with the judgment at a minimum! Way to go! It feels good to know that we don't all get sucked up into the hype and follow every ridiculous guideline. I was hoping that the true spirit of this subreddit would shine through in a thread like this and it has! :D
I wanted to post this suggestion up here as it gives this thread more of a "PostSecret" feel: "Pro-tip: sort this thread by "controversial" not "top" if you want to see the real confessions." Thanks arbormama!
And since we're opening up more, I'll add more of my own controversial confessions. I'm still having sex with 2 partners, my husband and my boyfriend. Both of my partners have other partners and safe sex practices are followed and regular testing is happening for all involved. But yeah... multiple partners and open relationships are one of those things you can be frowned on for when you aren't pregnant. During pregnancy, you're supposed to become all motherly and not at all slutty. Screw that. That said, I'm not seeking any new partners during my pregnancy, but that's mostly due to time/energy/complications with dating during pregnancy than it is any moral disagreement I have with it. Both of my partners are free to pursue new partners if they desire.
Soda? I didn't event think to include this. The guidelines recommend no more than 200mg of caffeine/day. So I haven't cut back on my Pepsi Throwback at all and I didn't even think of it as a confession.
I haven't done it in months, but I did smoke a few cigarettes during this pregnancy. Only at times when I was really stressed at work and when they were available. When my hubby quit buying them and it got too damn cold outside to smoke, I quit.
