Are you a parent or caregiver of a child under 5 years? If so, we would like to invite you to take part in our research study about family/ whanau discipline.

The Children's Issues Centre at the University of Otago is conducting a research project into discipline practices in family / whanau settings. We want to interview 100 parents of children under 5 years to gain an understanding of how families / whanau approach the task of guiding their children to behave appropriately and the challenges they face.

If you would like more infornation on how you can take part in this study, please call Julie on 0800 100 561.

This study has been approved by the Human Ethics Committee of the University of Otago and the Plunket Ethics Committee.
