So here I am back here for the second time this year and I find have so much respect for people with recurrent losses who keep trucking on.

Last time I wanted to get back on the horse straight away but this time I can't even imagine going back to ttc right now. I guess its not a bad thing but I think I am going to take a little time out to grieve this time around.

Wish it really was the stork that brought babies, it would be so much more straight forward.

The ttc journey is full of so many twists and turns.

vanillabean

I said it in another thread, but I'm really sorry for your loss.

You'll know when it's the right time to start trying again.
Taking time to grieve is important

Vanillabean - I am so sorry to hear that this has happened to you twice in a row. There is no rush with this process though so if you can't imagine trying again then wait until you can.
I had 2 m/c's in a row reasonably close together, gave it a break and then the next pregnancy resulted in my DD.

Big 's to you.

I'm really sorry for your losses, I know how difficult it is. I suffered losses before each of my 2 living children, as well as this pregnancy, they all devastated me and each time I didn't have successful pregnancies until I had decided there was more to life than ttc and I wanted to focus on something else..then each time - wham pregnant and with a happy outcome. Take care of yourself.

I remember one day going online after our third loss feeling like 'why bother' someone up there obviously hates me and I'm just going to keep being punished for something. (hey after a miscarriage you're not always feeling logical)

A woman online had been through something like 13 miscarriages and was still trying. I asked her how she kept going and her comment to me was

Through all the pain, the need never dies.....

It was a very basic statement but one that has never left my mind and I still hold her in total awe.

Big hugs. Like the others said, take some time and take the TTC pressure off yourself. You will know when you are ready to TTC again. After my 2 miscarriages I was dead set against TTC for a while but slowly but surely i'm feeling ready. Time doesn't erase hurt but it does help you regain your strength and move forward.

Thinking of you.
