Has anyone else given their baby/toddler Pediasure or Resource? The gremlins are refusing to drink the S26 Toddler Gold that the dietician recommended (and who can blame them, it smells foul!) so now she has given them some tins of Pediasure and some cartons of Resource to try and fatten them up. But I don't know how I feel about giving them flavoured drinks? (they are chocolate flavour)
But the gremlins weight, Mercedes in particular, is getting to the point where we will get an official Fails to Thrive diagnosis and admitted to Starship if it doesn't pick up. She is happy enough and healthy enough (altho their immune systems suck!) but she hasn't gained any weight since her 6 month Plunket check. Sienna has gained 300g since her 6 month Plunket check

No help here but . I know a lot of people give their kids weak milo at this age so if the dietician thinks it is ok, maybe it is worth a shot.

I know it doesn't help at all but she seems like a really healthy, happy little girl. Maybe she will start gaining more once her health settles down with the gromits etc? I know I lose lots of weight when sick so once her immune system is back up again perhaps her weight will pick up too?

i f**** hate the whole obsession with weight....

There is nothing wrong with her, has she not gotten taller? they certainly arent the same size as 6 mths ago and they are more active.

use maya as your example and remember how they said she was too small and she is fine...

If you want to fatten them up get willie to give them more boil ups and ice cream after dinner!!!!

Taro and coconut milk!!! That'll pack on the pounds every time! LOL (please excuse my sarcasm, I used to get sick of friends of mine trying to fatten me up by trying to feed me taro and coconut milk & cheese on toast!)

It is so weird that she hasn't put on weight as she has grown and she still looks the same size as Gabrielle who is 3 mths older and has grown heaps lately. Odd.

I'm not quite sure what they are but maybe you could mix some of the chocolate stuff with normal milk so they only get a wee bit of the flavour.
