Topic: I feel low Posted: 06 July 2008 at 1:54pm |
I just feel so sad right now and nothing really seems to help for long. And I am feeling obsessed with trying to prevent another miscarriage, I can't really think about much else.
I hope I feel better soon. I already take antidepressants (God knows what state I'd be in right now if I didn't), and I've had counselling and my friends, family and workmates have been lovely and supportive, but grieving is just such hard work.

I really feel for you. What you are feeling is so normal but I know that doesn't help. Sending you a huge hug. Take care.

Big hugs to you. Grief sucks, but it is definitely a process and it does get easier with time.
OT but I like the quote in your signature, "while I breathe, I hope."

I felt the same after my last MC but kept it pretty much to myself. I just couldn't get my mind off everything relating to the baby. It took a couple of weeks for me to accept what had happened. I really missed not going onto the Due in Dec thread on a daily basis and being able to talk about all things baby relating. Its now a couple of months since my MC and I have only just stopped myself lurking in this thread...and its not easy, even now.
I hope that time helps with the healing process

I still have a lurk in the due Jan thread linda....but like you, I have been trying to go in there less and less.
Unfortunately I feel (well for me anyway), when you are TTC'ing so much of your time if spent thinking about that and when finally getting a BFP you can finally start looking to the future. But to have that all taken away by a m/c is heartbreaking. No matter how early it was.
I know how you feel Vanillabean and hope that you can find some comfort here at OB. I know that I have over the past few weeks.
BIG HUGS to you!!!
