Wow your GP sounds fantastic! I'm so glad you went and saw him, well done. Also your DF sounds great too that he is coming home early to be with you.
I hope your are feeling physically better soon, so you are able to concentrate on your emotional needs better.
hun, take good care of yourself and let us know how you are doing.

Sorry for disappearing for quite a while. Been in the wars! First was diagnosed with picking up Norovirus from an outbreak after being in the hospital for the D&C, was the main reason I got so physically sick, after the general anaesthetic I was vulnerable and got hit with this. when I saw my gp I had a fever, low b/p, high heart rate, chills, fatigue.. all symptoms of Norovirus.
Was treated with enerlyte, loperamide (diahorrea) then maxalon when diahorrea turned to vomiting. Got severely dehydrated, went on an iv drip to re-hydrate.
Unfortunately, I began coping better with having a miscarriage with thinking about being ill and getting the dehydration targeted. So, after I was re-hydrated and let home again I stopped drinking water (still haven't eaten since D&C) just as a way to control my body and punish it I suppose.
Managed to get nephritis (inflammation of the kidneys) and Pre Renal Failure from severe dehydration, as well as heart problems (arrythmias and warning heart attack signs). Now I'm back on the road to recovery, fiance is off work to be with me for 2 weeks, having my bloods taken daily to moniter kidney function, urine analysis to watch dropping red blood cell levels in my wee.
Was so so close to needing dialysis and permanent kidney damage.
Been in and out of hospital against my will.
I am feeling stronger now, drinking water, eating will take a while to sort out I think but drs are not so worried as long as I drink, feeling more optimistic about just general life, a long road ahead but I think I have began to walk on it now.
When my body repairs itself I think I will try getting in contact with SANDS to talk things over. For now I am taking it easy and letting my poor abused body heal over time.
I feel a bit silly.

I'm so sorry for your loss .
It's sad that you felt you had to punish yourself for something out of your control, but I do understand your thinking there. I hope you're making some improvements and that in the future SANDS will be able to help.
