My kids have had diahhorea lately and I can't figure out why. It's soft and seepy (sorry TMI) and giving them both rashes Hannah is not complaining of a sore tummy (said no when I asked her) and neither of them is extra sleepy as if they have caught a bug.

ETA: This has been for about a week now.

The only other thing I can think of is fruit intake? How much do you give your kids, and what do you think is something of a daily "limit" before it has that kind of effect?

I don't know about a limit but a serving size is the size of their hands and the 5+ a day thing is based on serving size. I always thought that fruits like plums would make them go. Maybe take out those sorts of fruits of their diet to see if it makes a difference.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yeah must be certain types of fruit.. I never limit Ellas fruit intake and it doesn't have an effect on her like that.

Fruits with a higher acidity can sometimes do it, apples included, but it does depend on quantity as well.

Jake eats fruit heaps, and would exist on an all fruit diet if I let him, lol! Summer fruits like plums, nectarines, peaches and blueberries can be a little harder on their systems, but if you are giving them to them in small regular amounts, they will get used to them. Jake got rotten run bum from cherries and eating a whole punnet of blueberries on his own (he sneaked them), so I just gave him a wee few until I noticed things were returning to normal! plums, on the other hand, so have somethign int he skin that makes you "go" I actually read that on a fact sheet in new world a few weeks ago, so I peel them. Apples make me "go" as well...

Jake ate seven nectarines a few days ago and has been fine (little toad takes his new stool (thanks nana) and pushes it up to the fruit bowl - only found out how many when i discovered his stash of pips)
then again, he has an iron stomach.   I would've thought that even diarrhea caused by fruit would give them a tummy ache though.

Ha ha Liz, my Jake pushes over his plastic table and takes ENTIRE bunches of bananas (the little finger type ones) and takes bites out of ALL of them, skin and all, then brings them to me to peel. Also does it with bloody oranges, too, but at least you can still use them, unlike nanas...
Thats how he got the punnet of blueberries, I had them on the bench, I was snacking, and forgot them, lil bugga swiped them...
