Hey, we use the budget milk from Pak n Save too Kat lol!
But at $3.60 for 3 litres at the moment, it sure beats anything else around, especially the way we seem to go through it!

I tried the Junior milk to start with and agree its probably good for a fussy eater but otherwise normal blue should be fine

Most brands of milk come from the same place, most of them are all made by the same company at the same milk processing plant. so I would rather pay the $2.65 for 2litres of milk at the mo than pay $4 when it all comes from the same place anyway.

I am a bargin hunter lol, I don't think I will ever pay more than I have to for basic things like milk even if I become a millionairess (note the 'ess' lmao, don't think I'll be one myself, maybe married to one)

My son Jacob was going through about 8 litres of milk a week as he was having milk with his cereal and bottle at night and sometimes will wake up for another bottle during the night that it was just easier to give him normal milk during the day and formula at night and we don't go through

I've actually been wondering, has anyone ever worked out the cost of formula vs. cow's milk? I haven't properly myself, but by rudementary calculations, they work out to be pretty damn similar!

When Arna was just having a bottle at night (of formula) it would last us just under two weeks, so when they were on special (i actually got them for free!! ) at about $10 a can it works out about $5 a week and 2L of milk is around $3.50 - $4...

I see what you mean Nikki (sorry had to type out what I was thinking!!)

Okay have to say this before I even attempt to write anything lol - this is not meant to be offensive to anyone who uses it!!

I don't really see the point of giving Ella who is going to be two in a few months, formula.. she's never had it and it seems weird and foreign to me as we've never used it (breastfed then onto cows milk). I mean, I'm sure it's completely fine but I just wouldn't want to start her on it now..

just my two cents
