Hi ladies,
I'm so happy to hear your good news lost amber
Thanks to all for the others hugs and reassurance.
I went in for the D&C yesterday morning and it was all over so quickly. I was so worried about it and to be honnest I am very surprised how "not that bad" it was. They gave me some tablets, got me to lie down for about an hour with a blanket and a magazine, I met the Dr and then they wheeled me in. I was asleep in no time and woke up and it was all over. I seriously had no pain what so ever (which I was surprised about) and I feel fine (physically, not so much emotionally as still dealing with the loss).
For anyone who has to go through this please try not to be scared. I know it sounds horrible what they have to do but it isn't all that bad and it is over so quick. I went in to North Shore Hospital at 7am and was home by 11.30am. The Dr's and nurses were lovely.
Hope this helps anyone reading this who has to go through a D&C and I wish you the best of luck with your next pregnancy
