Just feeling sad... got AF yesterday. After 1 & 1/2 years trying I don't really hold out much hope anymore, but still...so went for a walk to try and cheer myself up - lovely day and all - and it seemed everywhere I looked were women pushing prams, pg women, Dad's playing with their kids etc. and I just found myself walking behind two women, 1 pushing a stroller with a toddler, the other one pregnant, both smoking and having a conversation along the lines of 'So I told him to f*** off, he's such a c***' I know I shouldn't judge other people's parenting skills but - it's not fair!

I know what you mean, it's amazing how many people get unwanted pg's and yet the ones who really really want to get pg - like you - seem to have no reason why they can't? It really bugs me too

Catie you poor thing, I know exactly the feelings you are having today. We tried for 2.5 years and it did seem like the whole world was pregnant or had young children! Don't give up hope...

I understand how you feel Catie
I'm just a couple of days away from the 24 cycles TTC/2 year mark, and it's such a sad milestone.
I'm thinking of you, and I hope you do something nice for yourself, just to lighten your heart for a little bit, if you can.

Hey Catie
I too know exactly how you feel. I have had a couple of down days too. I had a bad day on Anzac day so my DH took me out for a lovely walk along the beach just to try to get me to stop thinking about it and being sad. I saw so many pregnant people it wasnt funny.
Anyway, big hugs to you and I'm glad you are feeling better today.
Take care

We all are allowed to have our gloomy days. Dont give up hope, any of you. My mum was extremely fertile in her heydays (I have 6 brothers n sisters) and so I assumed that I'd be able to fall pregnant at the snap of a finger!. Well it took roughly a year and a 1/2 (and hundreds of bonks!) to be blessed with my son. I use to see pregnant women all around and wonder why I wasn't like them. Why couldn't a young person like me fall pregnant easily.
Never lose sight of this magnificent dream that you have set for yourself. The journey may be long, with plenty ups and downs but the treasure you create at the end of it is worth all the blood, sweat, and tears.
Stay strong girl, it will happen for you.
And hey don't worry about judging peoples parenting skills. I can't stand seeing mothers/fathers smoking around their children, especially babies n toddlers, or using foul language. It is a definite pet hate of mine.
