Any advice for dealing with morning sickness at the likes of playcentre? I had ms quite bad with my first two, but as I was working first time round and had just moved to a new area (so hadn't really started going to groups at that stage), I didn't have to deal with the overwhelming sickness, vomiting and exhaustion in a playcentre environment. I can just see the noise and busy-ness of the place making me feel a whole lot worse, and Id prefer to keep things to myself for now.
Any advice welcome

I have not experienced MS at playgroups or anything as only have one child- so can only recommend the usual things: sea sickness bands, ginger tea/cookies, acupuncture- that was amazing for me.
I threw up at least 3 times a day from 6 weeks pregnant until baby was 3 weeks old, so acupuncture helped me to function (and get cervix ready for the birth).

I hope your MS does not last long and you feel better soon!

Thanks Teacherlady, I hope so too though Im not counting on it!
Both my other pregnancies have started as this one and ended up with me vomiting all day long from 6 weeks to 18-20. Not fun and not easy to hide

Is there a reason you want to hide it? I was super ill this time round too and I ended up telling a few people so that wherever I was there were people who'd cover for me and show me a bit of sympathy and help if need be. I was suffering enough without doing it all alone!

We ended up telling people early because I was sick with current pregnancy and not coping. Being a porse home educator we were out and about and found some of the best support was from the groups that we went to - they are filled with mummas who understand whats going on and can reassure you and help you out a lot!
